Welcome to my site. I am an English teacher trained in the United States with five years teaching experince in California primary schools. I´ve been in Spain since this past summer and rapidly exploring the different options of teaching English and adapting my training to teaching ESL.
I am currently working as an Extracurricular teacher teaching 6th grade to high intermediate students. I also teach 3rd grade students who are low intermediate. Plus I have private clases teaching Very Young Learners from 2.5 to 4 years old and will be starting to teach adults in January who are trying to make the leap from learning to actually speaking and using what they know.
I have been trained worked extensively Writing and Reading workshop. I was also trained in GLAD strategies to teach English in context in science and social studies.
Before becoming a teacher I worked as a web designer and love to include technology into my classes. I´ve used pc´s, ipods, document cameras and projectors.
